Abstract

In today's era, it's essential for all students, including those in elementary schools, to master the English language. However, students often face difficulties in the English learning process, particularly in pronouncing vocabulary. This study focuses on investigating the factors that contribute to students' difficulties in pronouncing English words in Pesaban village. The research aims to identify and describe the challenges students encounter when pronouncing vocabulary. The data collection methods used in this study include tests, interviews, and observations. The findings indicate that students in Pesaban village still struggle with pronouncing English vocabulary. Factors influencing this difficulty include students' low proficiency, lack of practice in speaking English, low interest and motivation, and less engaging teaching methods.
