Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the supporting and inhibiting factors as well as the impact of the implementation of the teaching campus to improve literacy and numeracy. The type of research used in this study is qualitative descriptive with a descriptive type. The data analysis techniques used in this study are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Based on the research findings, the supporting factors in activities to improve literacy and numeracy are facilities, the role of parents, and the principal, while the hindering factors in activities to improve literacy and numeracy are costs, book supplies, and the students themselves. The impact of the Kampus Mengajar Angkatan program is the increase in vocabulary acquired by students through literacy. In addition, students who could not read and write became able to read and write.
