Perspektif Guru Terhadap Implementasi Pendidikan Untuk Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (ESD) Dalam Mata Pelajaran IPAS di Kelas V Sekolah Dasar

The purpose of the study was to characterize primary school teachers' opinions about the use of ESD in science and technology classes. In this instance, the teacher's viewpoint relates to their preparedness to apply ESD by 1) determining whether they have ever read anything about the principles and elements of sustainable development, and 2) determining whether they hold ESD resources. This research uses a qualitative approach and is carried out by one of the elementary schools in Central Lampung Regency. The data collection technique uses observation, interviews and documentation studies. Observation sheets, interview guidelines and curriculum documents are the instruments used in this study. The results of the study show that a better understanding of ESD can encourage teachers to create more contextual, relevant, and meaningful learning for students. Therefore, teacher capacity building through ESD-focused training is essential to ensure that they can play an active role in educating students about sustainable development.
