Abstract

This research is motivated by the low thematic learning outcomes of students because in the learning process the teacher only uses conventional methods and does not use learning models and media. This study aims to improve thematic learning outcomes using the problem based learning model assisted by interactive power point media. This research is a type of Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects in this study were grade III students at SDN 3 Tolitoli with a total of 15 students. This research was conducted in 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of three meetings with a time allocation of 2 x 35 minutes. Data collection techniques in the form of tests, observation sheets and documentation. The results of the study showed that data acquisition in cycle I was 53.3% which had not reached the KKM. Then there was an increase in learning outcomes in cycle II, namely 86.6%. This proves that using the problem based learning model assisted by interactive power point media can improve student learning outcomes.
