Peningkatan Kemampuan Literasi Siswa Melalui Penggunaan Buku Cerita Berbasis Elektronik di SDN 7 Tolitoli

An efficient learning process to improve children's language skills can be carried out by involving them in literacy activities. Literacy skills are very important for students to master several topics, including language teaching in Indonesia. Electronic story books are a media needed to attract children's interest in learning and improve reading literacy skills in elementary school students. This study aims to utilize electronic story books in order to improve literacy and reading interest among fourth-grade students of SDN 7 Tolitoli. This is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) carried out in two cycles using the Kemmis & McTaggart approach. Tests, interviews, and observations were used to collect data. Initial data on students' reading literacy activities in Indonesian language subjects are shown by the research findings, which show an average increase in Cycle I from 51.77 in the initial test to 73.2. 14 students in Cycle I were eligible to complete.
