HUBUNGAN EMPOWERING LEADERSHIP DAN JOB RESOURCES DENGAN ORGANIZATIONAL CITIZENSHIP BEHAVIOR PADA KARYAWAN

Abstract

Organisasi membutuhkan perilaku ekstra peran dari karyawan yang tidak termasuk dalam deskripsi pekerjaan dan perilaku spontan tanpa perintah tertentu sehingga dapat bersaing dan meningkatkan produktifitas. Perilaku ekstra peran dapat dari peran pemimpin yang memberdayakan (empowering leadership) dan pemanfaatan job resources. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara empowering leadership dan job resources dengan organizational citizenship behavior pada karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif non-eksperimental dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 568 karyawan. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan teknik regresi linier. Hasil uji hipotesis bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara empowering leadership dan job resources dengan organizational citizenship behavior pada karyawan dengan signifikansi sebesar 0,000. Organizational citizenship behavior dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel empowering leadership dan job resources sebesar 62,4%, sedangkan 37,4% dijelaskan dengan sebab-sebab lain seperti karakteristik tugas, karakteristik individu, karakteristik organisasi dan perilaku kepemimpinan lainya.
