Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the improvement in student learning outcomes in class IVA at SD Negeri Danau Ina, Kupang City in learning about style using the problem based learning model. The research method used in the research is classroom actioa The subjects in this research were 26 grade IV UPTD students at Danau Ina State Elementary School, consisting of 17 women and 9 men. Data collection was carried out using observation and test techniques. This data was analyzed using quantitative data analysis techniques. The research results showed that the student learning outcomes obtained in the first cycle were 18 students completed with a percentage of 69.23% in the (sufficient) category, while 8 students had not yet completed with a percentage of 30.04% in the (very poor) category. In cycle II the learning outcomes obtained by students increased as many as 24 students completed with a percentage of 92.30% in the category (very good) and 2 students did not complete with a percentage of 7.7% in the category (very poor). So it can be concluded that the application of the problem based learning model in learning about style can improve student learning outcomes in class IV UPTD of Danau Ina State Elementary School.
