Pengembangan Program Bimbingan dan Konseling Berbasis Kebutuhan Peserta Didik di Sekolah Menengah Pertama

This study aims to design an effective Guidance and Counseling program to meet the priority needs of students. This program focuses on three main aspects, namely intellectual maturity, emotional maturity, and religious life foundation, which are found to be the priority needs of students. The method used is quantitative descriptive, this study involved all 8th grade students using the Student Needs Questionnaire (AKPD). The results of the analysis show that intellectual maturity needs to be strengthened through improving learning skills, critical thinking, and logic. Students' emotional maturity requires support in managing emotions, the ability to cope with stress, and social skills. Meanwhile, the aspect of religious life foundation emphasizes the importance of strengthening religious and moral values to build students' character. This study concludes that the BK program that is specifically designed according to the results of the AKPD is able to provide a positive impact on the intellectual, emotional, and religious character development of students.
