Abstract

Teacher Professional Competence mentioned in the regulation of the National Education Standards Agency (BSNP) is to develop teacher and lecturer competency standards, because this body has the authority to develop teacher and lecturer competency standards whose results are determined by Ministerial Regulation, however, it can be observed the opinion of Sagala 2013 which says "competence is rational behaviour in order to achieve the required goals in accordance with the expected conditions.  so that teachers are accused of being the source of the deterioration of the quality of education in Indonesia, the problem of educator competence is indeed one of the factors that can have a significant effect on the quality of education. Educator competencies cover various aspects, including understanding of subject matter, teaching skills, abilities.
