Abstract

Meeting the community's expectations for protection and order is a challenge for the institution, particularly the Satpol PP in carrying out its primary duties and functions. where it needs to be supported by optimal-quality resources, an operational budget, and adequate Satpol PP infrastructure. Human resources, operational budgets, and apparatus infrastructure all have shortcomings, particularly in terms of skills and managerial capabilities. This study aims to analyze the effect of role conflict, emotional intelligence, and communication on the performance of civil service police officers in the Province of Bali. Using the random sample method, there are 55 samples. Data collection using a questionnaire The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression tests using the Smart PLS 3.0 application. Test the hypothesis using the t test and the F test. The results show that the role conflict variable has a negative and significant effect on the performance of Civil Service Police Unit employees, so the proposed hypothesis is proven. This means that the lower the occurrence of role conflict among employees, the higher the employee performance. The variable of emotional intelligence has a positive and significant effect on the performance of Civil Service Police Unit employees, so the hypothesis proposed is proven. This means that the higher the emotional intelligence, the higher the employee's performance. Role conflict, emotional intelligence, and communication together have a positive and significant effect on the performance of Civil Service Police Unit employees
