EDUKASI PASANGAN USIA SUBUR TENTANG PIJAT PUNGGUNG DALAM MEMPERCEPAT PENGELUARAN ASI DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS MEUREUBO KABUPATEN ACEH BARAT

Abstract

Community service activities carried out regarding ": Education of couples of childbearing age about back massage in accelerating breast milk production in the working area of ​​the Meureubo Health Center, West Aceh Regency". The partner in this activity is Posyandu Gampong Pasi Aceh Baroh in the Meureubo Community Health Center working area. The target of the activity is couples of childbearing age who have babies less than 6 months old at the posyandu. The problem of suboptimal breast milk production can be prevented through ongoing educational activities. Targets and outcomes are increased knowledge and implementation of back massage to facilitate breast milk by husbands. The success of PkM activities can be assessed by: 90% of participants attending the activities carried out, all activities being carried out and 100% of participants understanding the counseling provided. The implementation method is divided into 3 stages, namely the planning stage, implementation and evaluation stage to assess the success of implementing activities.  Results and Outcomes Achieved were an increase in knowledge among 20 Childbearing Age Couples (PUS) who were the target audience/participants in the activity. The pretest results were 55% had sufficient knowledge, the post test results were 20 PUS 90% had high knowledge. The output of community service activities is expected to include articles that can be submitted in National ISSN journals, leaflets and booklets. Conclusions and Suggestions There is an increase in knowledge after being given counseling about breastfeeding and back massage carried out by the husband. It is hoped that similar activities can be carried out in other sub-districts in West Aceh Regency, to increase PUS knowledge about back massage to facilitate breastfeeding and reduce the incidence of stunting
