Abstract

The times have given many improvements to the business world. The era full of technology has brought digital marketing techniques to start competing with traditional marketing. Online marketing is considered more effective because it can reach a wider audience so anyone can access it. Online marketing is effective because it can reach a wider audience and be accessed by anyone. This marketing directly provides information and can directly carry out the buying and selling process efficiently and effectively. This education and online advertising training for local products is an effort to develop local products through social media networks and aims to train business actors in Tomok Parsaoran Village, located in the Simanindo District, Samosir Regency, North Sumatra Province, Indonesia. The stages of the activity are education and training on local product advertisements. This activity results in business actors obtaining information about online advertising, which is a way of promoting products and services by utilizing internet-based digital channels. Online advertising can be realized on all digital platforms, such as social media.
