PENYULUHAN TENTANG UMKM NAIK KELAS BAGI IBU-IBU PKK DI DESA TERUMBU KECAMATAN KASEMEN KOTA SERANG

Abstract

Indonesian economic actors are dominated by Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), this indicates that MSMEs play an important role in the Indonesian economy. MSMEs are one of the ways of leveling the economy level of the low-income people. MSMEs contribute to Indonesia's GDP of 61.07% or equivalent to 8,574 trillion in 2021. This means that more than 60% of national growth comes from MSMEs. Therefore various programs were launched by the government to increase the number and quality of MSMEs. The program is called UMKM Scalling Up. Sharing tips and knowledge of MSMEs and increasing understanding of MSMEs scalling up is expected to be a motivation for PKK member in the Terumbu village to work, build and develop businesses to increase community economic growth.

The method used in the implementation of community service is the community education method where this method is used for activities in the form of counseling aimed at increasing understanding and awareness. The results of the community service activities in the form of counseling about MSMEs scalling up in the Terumbu village can contribute in the form of 1) increasing understanding and knowledge about MSMEs, 2) getting tips on building an MSME business 3) knowing the steps for MSMEs scalling up4) Practice of using temporary technology to improve the quality of MSME products. Because of the benefits of this counseling activity, it is hoped that similar activities can be continued in subsequent periods with different targets as well as post-implementation monitoring of the implementation of counseling so that the PKK members of the Terumbu village practice their knowledge and the targets are achieved.
