This research aims to find out whether the Problem Based Learning model assisted by NESSA media based on local wisdom has an effect on the results of students' conceptual understanding and how much the results of students' conceptual understanding of science material at SD Negeri 2 Bendanpete have increased. This research uses a quantitative experimental method with a one group pretest-posttest design. This research used subjects from all class V of SD Negeri 2 Bendanpete, totaling 15 students, using a non-probability sampling technique using a saturated sample type. Data collection takes the form of interviews, observations, tests (pretest and posttest), and documentation. Data analysis techniques include normality test, homogeneity test, paired sample t-test, N-Gain test. The results of this research show that the Problem Based Learning model assisted by NESSA media can provide differences in average scores and can improve students' conceptual understanding results. This statement can be obtained from the results of the paired sample T-Test and N-Gain test. In this test, the results of the paired sample T-Test were obtained with a significance of 0.000, which means Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. The results of the study in cycle I obtained a cognitive completeness percentage of 77.8% with an average psychomotor of 61.8 in the sufficient category. In cycle II, the cognitive completeness percentage increased to 85.2% with an average psychomotor of 72.2 in the sufficient category. The implementation of the study in cycle II has reached the classical completeness standard of 75%. Emodule validity data was obtained from validation instruments by 2 material and media experts and 2 Islamic religion experts. The data from the validation results were analyzed by averaging and adding percentages to the validation results and then determining the validity criteria for the emodule. Validation was carried out in two stages through material and media expert validation instruments and Islamic religious expert instruments. The validation results in terms of material, media and religious experts at stage 1 stated that the E module was valid and required revision. In stage 2 of the Emodule, in terms of material, media and religious experts, it was declared very valid and suitable for use without revision. Interviews, observations, and documentation activities were carried out to collect data. Data sources of principals, educators and students. Data analysis uses Milles and Huberman's interactive model. Based on the results of the research, student management transformation consists of several stages, namely preparation, identification and assessment at the time of admission of new students. Then curriculum management transformation involves the development of the use of an independent curriculum that is adjusted to the inclusive adaptive curriculum of the duplication model. Furthermore, the transformation of learning process management at SMA Negeri 3 Sanggau includes 1) the preparation of learning tools including analysis of learning outcomes, learning objectives, learning goal flow, lesson plans or teaching modules, 2) the implementation of the process of teaching and learning activities in grade 3) assessment. The results of the study show that teachers in using flannel board media consist of three main stages. Second, the implementation of learning with flannel board media for about 20-30 minutes at the beginning of the learning session, with interactive activities such as competing and matching words with pictures. Third, the teacher gives rewards and motivation to children after using the flannel board media, increasing the effectiveness of learning. From the results of the use of these media, it shows that it has a positive impact on the learning process of recognizing the alphabet in children. Children are able to mention the letters of the alphabet well, attach pictures and arrange words according to the pictures correctly and spell a word correctly. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive-analytic research type. The data collection technique used by researchers was a questionnaire containing questions, field observations, and also documentation. In this research, researchers used data triangulation techniques where data analysis was carried out interactively. It is known that as many as 33.3% of students received digital teaching materials in the form of videos, 50% received videos, and 16.7% of students received both. Students need digital teaching materials as supporting learning materials apart from the main teaching materials provided by schools in the form of printed teaching materials. Digital teaching materials are considered more interactive and effective for students in absorbing and understanding science learning materials at school. This study is a classroom action research consisting of two cycles. The stages of the study start from planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study were students at RA Baiturrahim totaling 16 children. The research instrument used was the mathematical logic intelligence observation sheet. Data collection techniques used observation and documentation. Data were analyzed using a percentage formula to determine the increase in children's mathematical logic intelligence. The results showed that the completeness of children's mathematical logic intelligence in cycle I was 68.75% and in cycle II increased to 87.50%. This article examines how visual design, specifically on the cover of Tempo magazine (18-24 November 2024), is used to communicate the controversial issue of a government official’s alleged involvement in online gambling. As one of Indonesia’s leading media outlets, Tempo magazine employs visual design elements to capture the reader’s attention and deliver a strong message regarding the alleged scandal. This analysis focuses on the use of design elements such as illustrations, typography, and color palettes, which serve to emphasize the theme of gambling and the involvement of the individual in question. The research adopts a semiotic approach to understand how visual signs on the magazine cover construct interpretation and influence public understanding of the issue at hand. The analysis reveals that visual design functions not only as an aesthetic element but also as a tool to direct the reader’s perception of the message being conveyed, in this case, concerning the morality and accountability of public officials. The </em><em>research</em><em> also discusses the relevance of ethics in visual communication design and its impact on how sensitive social issues are perceived by society.
