This service is very specific because it is not subject to a fee for applicants. The ease of requirements provided by the local government should encourage community participation. This can be seen from the governance that has been implemented in the agency. The study was conducted to analyze the application of good governance principles according to the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) to the implementation of these services and to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors in the service. The method used is qualitative descriptive with purposive sampling. The results of the study show that the principles of good governance: rule of law, transparency, responsiveness, fairness, effectiveness and efficiency, and accountability, are categorized as good. Meanwhile, the principles of participation, consensus orientation, and strategic vision are still less than optimal in their achievements. However, overall, the implementation of good governance has been running well in PBG dispensation services, with the Community Satisfaction Index (IKM) in 2023 reaching a value of 88.22.
Sudewi Entang Adhy Muhtar Dwi Putranto Riau Copyright (c) 2024 Sudewi, Entang Adhy Muhtar, Dwi Putranto Riau https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2024-11-22 2024-11-22 5 4 2437 2458 10.55681/jige.v5i4.3458 Pengaruh Keterampilan Berbahasa Arab Terhadap Pemahaman Hadis Pada Mata Pelajaran Hadis Riyadus Salihin Santri Kelas II Tingkat Wustha Pondok Pesantren Al-Islam Darul Falah Sragen Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024 https://ejournal.nusantaraglobal.or.id/index.php/jige/article/view/3516
This research aims to examine the influence of Arabic language skills on the understanding of hadith in the Hadith Subject of Riyadus Salihin for class II students at Wustha Level at the Al-Islam Darul Falah Islamic Boarding School, Sragen. Likewise, the motifs are passed down from generation to generation. Based on the results of observations that have been made, there are still many types of flora and fauna as well as cultural activities that are characteristic of Sumbawa Regency that can be illustrated into a woven motif so that it can add to the richness of the Kre Alang woven motif. So far, weavers have made motifs conventionally by drawing on paper using a pencil, making it difficult for them to apply it to the woven media. In the current digital era, woven motifs can be created using digital illustrations with pixel art techniques. One
motif that can be applied to woven motifs is the whale shark. By requiring companies to incorporate local components in their production processes, the government aims to strengthen the economy and reduce Indonesia's dependence on imported goods. However, the implementation of this policy not only affects domestic industries but also significantly influences foreign investors' decision-making when considering investments in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the impact of the Indonesian government's TKDN policy on foreign investors' investment decisions, using a normative-empirical qualitative approach. This approach involves examining the legal framework and observing the reactions and interactions resulting from the law's implementation. The method is intended to provide a more comprehensive understanding of foreign investors' perspectives on the TKDN policy. The findings indicate that, while the potential increase in the use of domestic products could support economic growth, challenges arise in complying with the provisions of the TKDN regulation, often creating obstacles for foreign investors. For instance, uncertainty regarding the required criteria and the administrative complexities involved can cause hesitation among foreign investors when making investment decisions. This research examines the responsibilities of host countries, particularly Indonesia, towards MNCs investing in the country. In the implementation of the host country's responsibility for the existence of MNCs, there is no regular supervision, which can prevent the host country from benefiting from the existence of MNCs. This research method uses a normative legal approach, with analysis based on legislation, especially Law Number 25 of 2007 concerning Investment, as well as related scientific literature. The results show that the presence of MNCs in Indonesia has a positive impact such as increased investment flows, job creation, and technology transfer. The result of this study is to find that there is a reciprocal relationship between the host country and MNCs, where the economic benefits provided by MNCs in the host country are subject to protection and legal certainty. The conclusion of this research is that the responsibility of the host country for the existence of MNCs must be carried out in accordance with international law and national law. Indonesia itself opens opportunities for Foreign Direct Investment in various sectors, one of which is the energy sector. Energy transition is needed to support sustainable development and one of the ways that can be done to support the energy transition programme is the use of hydrogen. The development of hydrogen as one of the new energy sources in Indonesia requires considerable investment. Therefore, the Government of Indonesia has a very important role in attracting investors to make Foreign Direct Investment in the field of hydrogen development in Indonesia. The method used in this research is normative legal research, namely research with analysis based on legislation related to investment and related to new energy and renewable energy in Indonesia. The results show that one of the focuses of investment policy direction in Indonesia is the focus of food, infrastructure, and energy development. The role of the government to attract Foreign Direct Investment in hydrogen development in Indonesia includes providing facilities and incentives, drafting regulations, providing research and development grants, drafting the National Hydrogen Strategy, establishing a Special Indonesian Standard Classification of Business Fields / Klasifikasi Baku Lapangan Usaha Indonesia (KBLI) Khusus, and investment promotion.
Yuda Puji Agustin Copyright (c) 2024 Yuda Puji Agustin https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2024-12-19 2024-12-19 5 4 2533 2545 10.55681/jige.v5i4.3457 Implikasi Peraturan Menteri Energi Sumberdaya dan Mineral Nomor 48 Tahun 2017 Terhadap Kepastian Divestasi Saham Bagi Investor Asing Pada Proyek Pembangkit Listrik Independent Power Producer https://ejournal.nusantaraglobal.or.id/index.php/jige/article/view/3459
This article discusses the regulation of share divestment by foreign investors in electricity generation projects in Indonesia, based on the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Regulation No. 48 of 2017. The research questions raised include the provisions for share divestment for foreign investors in electricity generation projects and the flexibility that can be applied in their business practices. The research was conducted using a normative-juridical method with a case-based approach, legislative approach, and conceptual approach. The findings indicate that the regulation aims to maintain investor commitment until the project reaches the Commercial Operation Date (COD) to ensure project stability. However, some foreign investors utilize a shell company scheme to transfer shares without violating formal provisions. Although this approach does not legally breach regulations, it presents challenges in supervision and accountability due to the complexity of ownership structures. In conclusion, the government needs to tighten regulations and oversight regarding the use of shell companies to ensure that the primary objectives of divestment regulation maintaining investor stability and commitment are achieved.
Alvin Persada Putera Copyright (c) 2024 Alvin Persada Putera https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2024-12-19 2024-12-19 5 4 2546 2557 10.55681/jige.v5i4.3459 Kepastian Hukum di Indonesia Terhadap Penyelesaian Sengketa Penanaman Modal Asing Melalui Lembaga Arbitrase Internasional https://ejournal.nusantaraglobal.or.id/index.php/jige/article/view/3477
In recent decades, foreign direct investment has experienced an increase across various parts of the world, including Indonesia. The growing economic side may confront the unequal benefits received by Indonesia as the host country and foreign investors if problems arise in fulfilling obligations. This potential issue will continue if it is not resolved promptly. The existence of legal instruments becomes crucial to protect parties from unfair treatment, especially in the event of disputes that must be resolved through dispute resolution forums. The procedures employed should be efficient without involving lengthy processes, as parties generally prefer to resolve disputes through international arbitration forums. These forums are meant to ensure foreign investors' safety; however, in reality, some international investment treaties between countries often do not include more flexible dispute resolution procedures. This paper aims to examine the legal protection for parties involved in resolving foreign investment disputes through international arbitration in Indonesia, along with the mechanisms related to the enforcement of decisions and their execution. In addition to conventional banks, digital banks have now emerged, regulated under Financial Services Authority Regulation No. 21 of 2023 on the Provision of Digital Banking Services by Commercial Banks. Digital banking services offer quick and easy access; however, with the rise of digital banks, new challenges and risks have also emerged, particularly concerning issues of personal data protection, cybersecurity, and customer data breaches. The rapid development of fintech in Indonesia has shifted consumer behavior towards digital financial transactions, especially since the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, which required the public to reduce physical transactions. This study employs a normative legal research method, focusing on examining existing norms, principles, and legal regulations. In normative legal research, legal sources such as laws, books, journals, news, and other legal literature serve as the primary objects of study. The research findings conclude that legal regulations related to data and privacy protection for digital bank customers in Indonesia need strengthening, as current regulations remain partial in nature. Legal regulations should be comprehensive and cover all aspects related to the collection, storage, use, and security of customers personal data. To improve these legal regulations, harmonization of related laws and regulations is necessary. Additionally, public awareness, education, and outreach to digital banks are needed to emphasize the importance of data and privacy protection.
Erika Yolanda Pan Lindawaty Suherman Sewu Christian Andersen Copyright (c) 2024 Erika Yolanda, Pan Lindawaty Suherman Sewu, Christian Andersen https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2024-12-29 2024-12-29 5 4 2876 2886 10.55681/jige.v5i4.3592 Implementasi Kebijakan Pemerintah Tentang Pendidikan Al-Qur’an di Kecamatan Soreang Kota Parepare https://ejournal.nusantaraglobal.or.id/index.php/jige/article/view/3629
The implementation of government policies related to Quranic education in Soreang District, Parepare City, is an important issue that needs to be studied and comprehensively understood. Therefore, research and analysis are necessary to ensure that the implementation process, particularly in terms of teaching and development, is given priority so that the Quranic education policies issued by the government can be successful and effective. Without government policies related to Quranic education, the community members who manage Quranic education programs, such as Quranic Education Parks (Taman Pendidikan Al-Quran), would lack legitimacy. The implementation of government policies include: the first aspect concerns the government policies themselves; the second pertains to Quranic education as the substance of the research; and the third involves the urgency and benefits of Quranic education for the Muslim community in Soreang District, Parepare City. These three aspects will be discussed in this article to be understood and serve as a learning resource, especially for Muslims, particularly children and adolescents, who must understand and possess the ability to read the Quran. The implementation of government policies related to Islamic education outside formal schools should be a concern for all, including parents, community leaders, religious figures, and Muslim children, so that its implementation can meet expectations. If Muslim children and adolescents can read the Quran fluently, then the success of Quranic education in Soreang District, Parepare City, can be categorized as a successful in the community. The success of Quranic education in this district is marked by the ability of teachers (ustads and ustadzahs) to effectively teach their students, evidenced by their ability to read the Quran well. The implications of this research are: first, the government's policy provides ample opportunities for the Muslim community to educate their children in Quranic educational institutions, such as Quranic Education Parks in Soreang District, Parepare City. Second, there is a realization of improved quality in teaching, especially Quranic education, as Quranic education requires qualified teachers. Third, the students (santri) who receive knowledge from these educators will be able to understand and apply it in their worship, religious life, and community involvement.
Mukhtar Mas'ud Bahtiar Copyright (c) 2024 Mukhtar Mas'ud, Bahtiar https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2024-12-29 2024-12-29 5 4 2887 2897 10.55681/jige.v5i4.3629 Video Edukasi Berbasis Kearifan Lokal Melalui Peran Influencer terhadap Peningkatan Imunisasi Dasar https://ejournal.nusantaraglobal.or.id/index.php/jige/article/view/3604
Background: Complete basic immunization (CBI) is crucial in preventing infectious diseases in children. Two simulations were conducted to evaluate different scenarios and their outcomes. Simulation 1 focused on maximizing the utilization of biogas while adhering to production constraints, monthly energy needs, and annual production limits. The results indicated that during high-demand months (July to December), energy distribution approached the maximum production capacity, optimizing biogas usage while fulfilling energy requirements. Simulation 2 targeted the minimization of total energy costs by balancing energy sourced from biogas and PLN. The optimal solution achieved a total cost of 420,000. The simulation showed that during the first two hours of the day, energy demands were partially met by biogas, with PLN contributing the rest to fulfill the demand. Throughout the remaining hours, biogas production was zero, leading to a complete reliance on PLN. The results highlighted the feasibility and effectiveness of combining biogas and PLN energy to achieve cost savings, while suggesting potential improvements to enhance biogas production or utilization efficiency to reduce PLN dependence further. Overall, the study demonstrates that effective energy management in West Waru Village can be achieved by optimizing biogas and PLN use, maintaining cost efficiency, and ensuring the fulfillment of energy demands. Future work should focus on boosting biogas production capacity and enhancing distribution strategies to further reduce operational costs.
Tyas Wedhasari Copyright (c) 2024 Tyas Wedhasari https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2024-12-30 2024-12-30 5 4 3953 3962 10.55681/jige.v5i4.3672 Konsep Pemimpin dan Kepemimpinan dalam Islam https://ejournal.nusantaraglobal.or.id/index.php/jige/article/view/3673
Discourse on leadership and leadership is something that never stops in conversation from time to time.
